    3. Prepare matching comb plate, fixing bolts, gaskets, wrench and protective gloves.
    4. Inspect the new comb plate for broken teeth, cracks or deformation; confirm the model fits your escalator.
    5. Clean the comb support base, remove dirt, rust and debris that may affect fitting.
    6. Remove Damaged Old Comb Plate
    7. Locate the fixing bolts on both sides of the old comb plate.

    9. Check the support bracket and safety contact switch under the plate for damage or failure.
    10. Replace deformed brackets or faulty safety switches before installing new parts.

    15. Reconnect and test the comb plate safety switch to guarantee normal trigger function.
    16. Inspection & Test Run

    18. Check friction or collision between steps and comb teeth; adjust the plate position if any scraping occurs.
    19. Reinstall all escalator side covers after passing manual inspection.
    20. Switch on power and run the escalator with no load for 10 minutes, recheck the comb plate operation status.
    21. Safety Precautions
    22. Only professional certified escalator maintenance technicians can perform installation.
    23. Power must be completely cut off before any disassembly and assembly work.
